1971

Tupac Amaru Shakur was born in New York. His mother, Afeni Shakur, who was a member of The Black Panthers Party, while pregnant was in jail. Tupac Amaru in Inca's language Inków means 'shining serpent', while Shakur - 'thankful to God'.

1983

Tupac's acting debut in "Risin' in the Sun"

1986

Tupac, together with his mom, moved to Baltimore, where he attended to Acting High School. That's where he played in small roles and wrote his first song under the alias MC New York.

1988

Tupac moves to Marin City in California. There he becomes a drug dealer and is thrown out of school. Tupac's step father, Mutulu Shakur, is sentenced to 60 years in prison.

1990

Tupac enters the group Digital Underground as a dancer and rapper.

1991

Music debut with '2Pacalypse Now' including hits 'Trapped' i 'Brenda's Got A Baby'. Tupac was nominated to Grammy Award together with Digital Underground. He also acted in 'Angel Town 2: Juice'.

1993

Tupac released the new album 'Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z...' and acted in 'Poetic Justice' with Janet Jackson. He was also nominated to American Music Award in 'Best Hiphop Performer' category. In november he was arrested for rape.

1994

Tupac survived an attempt on his life at Manhattan by the recording studio. He was shot 5 times, including twice in his head. The court sentenced him for rape in 1993: 1,5 to 4,5 year in jail, he sat 8 months. During that time he had a permission to play in 'Above The Rim' and to record 'Thug Life Vol. 1'.

1995

'Me Against The World' released. Tupac was married with Keisha Morris. He was released from jail on bail (1,4 mln USD), which Suge Knight payed.

1996

'All Eyez On Me' was released (in over 6 million copies), no 1 on charts , including hits 'California Love', 'How Do You Want It', '2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted'. Tupac also played in 'Gang Related'. 7 september he was shot in Las Vegas after Tyson - Seldon fight, in his way to Knight's club 662. 13 september at 4.03 p.m. he died in Las Vegas. His body was lately cremated. 'Makaveli - The Don Killuminati: 7 Day Theory' released, another hit.

1997

Two movies introduced: "Bullet" with Shakur and Mickey Rourke and "Grid Lock'd" with Tim Roth.

1998

'R U Still Down' and 'In His Own Wordz' released.

Tupac Amaru Shakur was born in the Bronx, NY in 1971. His mother, Afeni Shakur, was a Black Panther, and was serving a sentence for bomb charges when she gave birth to 2Pac. 2Pac had a succesfull solo career before founding Thug Life. He had given out two albums, 2Pacalypse Now and Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z. Both sold millions of copies. When 2Pac was in Las Vegas, Nevada, he got shot at an intersection while sitting in his car together with Death Row president Marion "Suge" Knight. 2Pac was wounded and taken to an LV hospital, where he died a few days later. 13th of September 1996.
